The architectural firm has drastically expanded its services to perform both design and construction. We now have a state license to work as a general contractor. While most design-build firms are managed by contractors, Halflants + Pichette will continue to be centered on design and be run by architects.

All members of the office from principals to site supervisors are trained architects and can bring to the construction their design background and a more holistic perspective. We receive feedback directly from subcontractors and can make informed aesthetic and financial decisions on the project at all phases of design and construction. This helps guarantee that the project will remain within the clients' budget.

As architects and builders, we bring considerable expertise to each of our projects. If an issue develops at the job site, the client no longer has to worry about an adversarial relationship between the architect and builder.

While the firm will also continue to design projects to be built by others, we are eager to bring both design and construction services to select projects. Our first two construction projects, an ambitious addition on Lido Key and a new waterfront residence in St. Petersburg, are being built concurrently. We are also scheduled to shortly start construction on residences in Sarasota and in Tampa.
