To give the illusion of depth the kitchen volume was painted a shade of black. The apartment was stripped of dropped and false ceilings. Custom furniture includes a 16 foot credenza of clear maple that houses the A/V equipment. The use of clear maple was extended to the rest of the condo's design.

The custom office furniture was designed with cantilevered shelves and hidden brackets. In contrast to the black painted volume, the new bathroom and kitchen counters are of white quartz. Kitchen cabinets were specified to have a white lacquer finish.
